The Day/Night match scores are posted. Thanks to all the shooters that participated in one or both matches. We are one of the few clubs in the nation that regularly hold outdoor night matches. These are valuable opportunities to practice in what is the most likely environment for an actual defensive situation: No or low light. We invite our newer shooters to participate in our day matches in order to meet the experience qualifications for a night match. |

The scores for our September match are posted. Thank you to all the shooters for participating. Congratulations to all the division winners and especially Lee Blackwood for most accurate and George Pilgrim for leaving everybody else in the dust. Our next match on the third Saturday of October and is our annual Day/Night match. The day match will be shot in the afternoon followed by the Night match as soon as darkness permits. You are welcome to shoot both or either match. The night match is limited to experienced shooters. (Three MDPA matches in the past year or similar shooting experience if approved by the Match Director.) Match Scores were revised 9/20/11. |

This Saturday (10/15/11) is our annual Day/Night match. We will be registering for the day match between 1pm and 1:30pm. We will set up the match and start shooting soon there after. We will shoot the same stages for the night match. The night match will start at 7:30pm. There will be time for an early dinner between matches. You may shoot both matches or just the day match or the night match for one registration fee. The night match is limited to experienced shooters only. You must have participated in a minimum of three MDPA matches this year or have similar experience approved by our Match Director prior to the night match. The minimum round count for the Day Match is 88 rounds. The Night Match also has a minimum round count of 88 rounds. The long range weather forecast calls for a mild fall day on Saturday so come out and shoot what maybe our last match of the year. |

This Saturday, September 17, 2011, is the MDPA’s Montana State Championship Match. Bob has put together 12 very challenging stages that will test your accuracy and gun handling. If you don’t miss you can shoot the entire match with 116 rounds. Bring extra ammo if you think you might miss a few shots. We will start registration at 9am and start shooting at 9:30am. The weather looks fair for Saturday so plan on a day at the range for some great stages and a fun match. We will be setting up on Friday afternoon. We will start a 3pm and will work until 7:30pm. If you can come out anytime during those hours please do so. We can use all the help we can get. See you at the range. |
